Our partners enable Our Mission to realize our Vision

Every partners’ tourism product or service included in our Day Trips, Breakaways, Journeys, Expeditions, Courses,  and Volunteer travel trips contributes toward the UN Sustainable Tourism Goals (SDGs) and makes a positive impact in the destinations in which we operate.

Each partner listed below is a credible and legally registered entity, has appropriate insurance coverage in place, and conducts its business in an ethical, safe, and responsible manner and in compliance with the 3 pillars of sustainable tourism, namely; Planet, People, and Profit.

Regarding the Profit pillar, Naturecrazi earns a commission ranging from 5% to 20% on sales generated through booking enquiries from our website. These revenues are essential for us to support Our Causes.

As an online tour operator (OTA), Naturecrazi is not a travel marketplace – we meet our partners at annual travel trade shows and regularly inspect our partners properties and services to ensure guest safety, satisfaction, and compliance with our stated values. In this regard, we believe that Nature is Everyone’s Business.

OUR CURRENT PARTNERS

Located in South Africa’s Western Province, a 45-minute drive from Cape Town and near the picturesque town of Paarl, Ashia is an African name meaning ‘Hope and Life’. As such, the name perfectly reflects the two sides of the project – giving hope for the future of the cheetah species through Ashia’s Cheetah Reintegration, Reintroduction and Research Programs, and offering the best life to the animals in need of care. Founded in 2016 as a non-profit conservation organisation, Ashia is successfully reintegrating, relocating and reintroducing carefully chosen cheetahs to game reserves and national parks in Africa.

A 2018 interview conducted by Naturecrazi’s CMO with Ashia’s founder, Chantal Rischard, can be read here.

Founded in 2000 as Dyer Island Cruises by conservationist Wilfred Chivell, Marine Dynamics was subsequently purchased in 2005 as an existing shark cage diving company. Wilfred then founded the Dyer Island Conservation Trust (DICT) in 2006 when he began the penguin nest project and needed to raise much needed funding. The DICT has evolved to encompass many projects that address the environmental needs within the area with Marine Dynamics the operational platform providing critical support. Wilfred is a diver and he visits marine safari operations and conservation projects during his travels, growing in knowledge and inspiring others. Marine Dynamics is recognised internationally through responsible tourism awards and referenced in case studies. Marine Dynamics is Fair Trade Tourism certified, while the company’s boats are all endorsed by Blue Flag – a prestigious, voluntary eco-label for beaches, boats and marinas that is recognised as a trusted symbol of quality by the World Tourism Organisation as ta global eco-label.

Our mobile safari partner, Safari Selections Botswana, is owned and operated by Ren Mbulawa and Anthony Cavill Taylor, both esteemed figures in Botswana’s safari industry. Drawing from their deep-rooted experience, they envisioned an authentic safari circuit that unites tourism products owned and operated by Botswana citizens under a singular banner while prioritizing wildlife encounters and cultural immersion. Their emphasis lies firmly on the safari experience and the rich cultural heritage of Botswana, rather than opulent hotel-style luxury. In this regard, the founders embrace the concept that while comfort is essential, the true essence of an extraordinary stay is the wildlife encounters, which results in guests vividly recalling the remarkable wildlife more than the room they stayed in.
